I just posted some information and pictures on the “places to Visit In Palm Springs” Page. The “Living Desert” Zoo is a great place to go to while visiting the Coachella Valley in California. Here is the LINK to the page.
Enjoy!

We are down in Palm Springs quite often and always manage to take a drive down the El Paseo in the Palm Desert area of Palm Springs. I mean this is ‘the place’ to see the best of the shopping in the desert. This a great drive down El Paseo Drive looking at all the high end stores as well as a nice sprinkling of local artist shops and restaurants.
I am talking “Coach“, “Saks Fifth Ave“, “Ann Taylor“, “Tiffany and Co” and my personal favorite, “Tommy Bahama“. There are allot of stores here that seem to cover about 5-7 blocks and there are 2 lanes running down each side with a nice landscaped boulevard.
There is plenty of parking and you can even use their free shuttle that runs up and down the whole shopping district. My sons (age 20 and 22) were down with us last Christmas and there were some nice Aston Martin cars on display near the fountain you see above which made their day!
Make sure you mark this on your ‘things to do in Palm Springs’ next time you are down…it is worth the visit even if you are a window shopper like me.
Kind Regards,
Larry
My wife and I really enjoy traveling and almost always book our travel online. We even book private Condo’s etc. online. Hey, I have even used Ebay!
Well, my wife has now signed up to be a Travel Referral Associate and has her own fancy online Travel Site! Now we book through our own service and make the commissions. Sounds like a wise decision to me.
I surfed through the site the other day and was excited to see some excellent golf destinations and even an exclusive Beijing Olympics Package that included tickets! Have a look below as I have pasted in some picture links to click on. Always easier. Here’s to your next Vacation to Palm Springs or wherever.

A special welcome and thanks for visiting. This blog will be everything Palm Springs when it comes to vacationing in the beautiful Coachella Valley of California. We will cover where to stay, where to play, what to see and where to eat. Did I mention where to golf…that will be discussed as well.

Please bookmark this site and check back often. Feel free to contact us as well and fill us in on your Palm Springs experiences and recommendations.
Kind Regards,
Larry
